जब मैंने खुद को अपनों के बीच पाया,
तो महसूस हुआ — एक अजनबी की कमी है।
कोई जो मुझे न जानता हो,
फिर भी मेरी हर बात सुनने को तैयार हो।
उसी वक़्त मैंने अपनी डायरी से रिश्ता जोड़ा।
मैंने उसमें वो सब लिखा जो किसी से कह नहीं पाया —
और उसने सब कुछ सुना, बिना किसी सवाल के।
पर मन में एक ही ख्वाहिश रह गई —
काश, डायरी इंसान होती।
काश, वो मुझसे बातें कर सकती।
यही सोचकर मैंने तलाश शुरू की —
एक ज़िंदा डायरी की।
एक प्रेम-कबूतर की,
जो मेरी कहानियाँ अजनबियों तक पहुँचा दे।
और अब, मैं हूँ —
आपका प्रेम-कबूतर।
जो आपको आपकी ज़िंदा डायरी से मिलवाएगा।
